“This Must Be The Place”. So says a large neon art-piece that lets you know that you have found The Place, the bar in the g hotel, Ireland’s newest five-star hotel opened in Galway few months ago. The hotel, with 101 guest bedrooms, is the flagship property of Monogram Hotels, a niche brand of luxury hotels. It features fabulous interiors by Philip Treacy, who has worked in collaboration with Douglas Wallace, architects and interior designers.

We love the "nouvelle cuisine" approach of the chef Rence Van De Weekd, from taste to presentation. What is more, staff can even tell interesting stories with background information about the products being served.

SHOEBALOO, a designer footwear boutique in the Netherlands, has three shoe shops in Amsterdam and is as popular for its shoes as for its cutting-edge interiors. One of the shops is situated in the ultra chic P.C. Hooftstraat. Despite being only 100 square meters, the shop's high-end shoe collection speaks in measures, including Gucci, Prada, Fendi and miu miu. Store is designed by Meyer en Van Schooten Architecten.
