Lagom Is Back!

Lagom001

Lagom is back! With a limited collection entirely dedicated to the summer, "Summer Summer 09", they do clothes for the sophisticated city athlete. The inspiration is picked from an annual English bicycle competition, "The Tweed Race", which honours the memory of the classic gentleman and also works as a meeting point for many different generations of men and women who meet up to compete in the race with a wide range of different bicycles. Among them the modern fixed-gear bicycles and the classic men bicycle. The key words in this collection are the already mentioned meetings between different generations, pleats and the tiny Sherlock Holmes cap.

William Rast - Fall 2009

"Together, we're an emerging rock band," he said in the showroom the day after the third William Rast collection was launched in New York. It was all about denim—and denim's best friend, black leather, fringed and studded in classic biker style." - Tim Blanks / Style.com

Fabien Rambert

Fabienramber

It is still winter so we have decided to pull out from our wardrobe some "vintage" Fabien Rambert to make life brighter and bit funkier. This young promising designer is really making fashion that stands out. We are looking forward to seeing more soon, now that rumor has it he has decided to move back to Paris.

Great Clothes For Tough Times by Michael Kors

Michaelkors001

Is it just me or Michael Kors is getting ready its men to do the hard lifting in this bad economy? Love the concrete-and-neon tough in the dominance of gray shot through with hits of acid green and hazmat orange.

The cuts are very classy but you can still move easily. Love the oversized sunglasses hiding any trace of last nights partying... This is Michael's most forceful—and urban—menswear statement to date.

Leopold Autumn Winter 2009

Leopold001

Modern tailoring is back and relaxed elegance is the new leitmotif for Leopold. Recent winners of the 2008 Australian Fashion Awards for Best Menswear Designer, Leopold’s classic dark colour palette is here again with the Autumn Winter range drawing inspiration from Shanghai in the 1940s. The sombre colour palette of black, charcoal and navy was inspired by Chinese ink, calligraphy and black lacquer, but contrasted with the vivid colours of Asian art - peacock blue, imperial purple, and Chinese red.

Leopold002

Upmarket looks and fabrics are rediscovered. Tailor-styled, sharply contoured suits emphasise Leopold’s masculine figure. Suits are figure-hugging, with clearly defined shoulders and come in single button, double-breasted and the classic tuxedo. Oversized coats and knitwear combined with slim, sharp suits create a beautiful contrasting silhouette for Leopold this season.

Leopold003

The mood is characterized by individual pieces, such as cropped leather bombers , peacoats, shearling jackets, and leather trenchcoats, supplemented with beaded knitwear, tuxedo style shirting and slim cut denim. All clothes are made of extremely luxurious fabrics with careful deliberate construction, making Leopold’s Winter collection one of the finest ever.
